On the occasion of this year's "World Environment Day", Escwa marked it by planting a rose in the
UN House entrance garden in the name of the late Lebanese President of Council of Ministry
Rafic Hariri who was instrumental in bringing ESCWA to its final headquarters in the heart of
Beirut City.
