Hariri Bureau for Relief Services
The “Hariri Aid & Relief” Bureau began its operations following the Israeli invasion in 1982. The massive destruction and the population displacement that followed the attack, severely affected the Lebanese citizens’ social and economic living conditions in almost all of Lebanon.
The “Hariri Aid & Relief” Bureau was organized under the Hariri Foundation umbrella in 1984, and dedicated its mission to the humanitarian, social and health relief. Following the tragic assassination of Prime Minister RafiK Hariri on 14th February 2005, the “Hariri Aid & Relief” Bureau was renamed: “Martyr RafiK Hariri Assistance Office”.
The Office provides various kinds of aid; targeting individuals and groups, in terms of medical and social assistance. Also in terms of cooperating with nongovernmental organizations, specially in situations of national crisis which mandates collaboration in developmental projects.
