Overview on the Directorate of Health & Social Services

To date, DHSS comprises 18 centers distributed all over Lebanon. Two mobile clinics are available to facilitate the delivery of care in deprived areas, hence enhancing accessibility to medical care. The overall number of services DHSS has delivered is 2,145,834 while 234,324 magnetic cards are issued so far (updated on a monthly basis).

The Lebanese Directorate of Health and Social Services (DHSS), a subsidiary of the Hariri Foundation, has evolved a new IT infrastructure that integrates and unifies patient records across the country. As a result of the project, doctors have a comprehensive knowledge of patients’ medical history, thereby ensuring the most consistent and best care possible.
