Hariri III School
Being a great believer in extending quality education to all, in particular to the less privileged with limited means, prime minister Rafik Hariri requested Rafik Hariri Foundation to establish the Hariri III School in Ard Jalloul- Tarik El-Jadida, in order to better serve the educational, social and cultural needs of that densely populated area .
With only 200 kindergarten students in 1998, Hariri III School accommodates at present around 1200 students in its coeducational English and French sections from nursery to grade 9. The school follows the Lebanese program which is enriched by several co-curricular creative activities, specially in sports, arts, drama and music, to be in line with the mission of Hariri III School which targets to educate and develop well-rounded citizens, being passionate to learn, mentally alert, confident, and self-disciplined. Also being able to cherish social, moral and aesthetic values, with readiness to mobilize a positive change towards a better future.
However, in order to meet the directives of Rafik Hariri in having the Foundation stand by the parents side, in reinforcing the educational journey of their children, the foundation covers almost 50% of school tuition.
